DESCRIPTION:
Trauma is experienced when a life event is perceived as a threat to your health, safety or life. Trauma fills the body with enormous amounts of survival energy causing the body/mind discomfort. The intention of this group is to release blocked energies that fuel the symptoms of trauma so that there can be an increased sense of well being. We will use body based stress relief methods, relaxation techniques, breathing, grounding and centering exercises along with light tapping and holding of acupressure points to dissipate the trauma. With the release and reintegration of these traumatic energies one experiences a sense of balance and a renewed ability to move on with life.

In this workshop you will learn to use simple and gentle self-help techniques that are profoundly effective in healing traumas, the seeds of mental, emotional and physical illness. We will be working with Tapas Acupressure Technique (TAT), a mind-body therapy along with mindfulness meditation to resolve the mental & emotional blocks to wellness.
